Horizontal vs Vertical Dock (also hidden vs shown)

Do you use a horizontal or vertical dock? What size screen do you have? Why have you chose that orientation? Do you have your dock hidden?

I use a vertical dock on all of my screens (13 and 23) because I feel like vertical space is more valuable when doing most activities. Web pages rarely benefit from the full width of screens, and when you use a horizontal dock, this can interfere with the content. I also don't hide my dock because I rarely do side by side apps or browsing.
