SplashDash, perfect example of how useful dockable apps are
Dockable apps is among my top 10 most valuable features on Windows 8, It makes the multi tasking experience so much better than Windows 7 on a keyboard and mouse environment.
Not a replacement for the snap feature on Windows 7 in all cases but definitively great for things like watching your podcast without having to be switching apps, waste time trying to arrange your screen the perfect size or waste precious desktop space.
Can't wait for apps like Netflix or a YouTube app or Winamp and may other apps that can take advantage of this feature, which at least for me will help me save a little money by not having to turn my TV on using the desktop. Little things like this is what makes an OS great.
