Is Apple buying Yahoo! a possibility?
Does this seem too crazy? With Apple separating more and more from Google (as seen in iOS 6 with no Google Maps or Youtube) who's to say something like this wouldn't happen? Apple does have A LOT of money in the bank just sitting there, do you think this would be a good move for them? IMO, I think this would be a good move for them because it would allow Apple to buy a company for maybe cheaper than it's worth and build it up to start directly competing with Google like Yahoo! may have done in the past with e-mail, search, etc... Something that interested me was all this talk about Apple and a set top box. Maybe something like this and Yahoo!'s new app "IntoNow" would be happier under one roof. This is all a lot of speculation but it would be interesting to see if anyone shares this point of view.
