A Couple of External HDD Questions...
A few months ago I bought a 500gb external G-Drive and have been using it as a way to back up my computer via Time Machine. Now that I am starting to collect more and more media on my computer I have a couple quick questions I'm hoping some of you guys can help me out with:
1. Is it possible for me to erase the drive completely, disconnect it from Time Machine, and use it as a place for extra content rather than backups of my whole computer?
2. Would I be able to buy another external hard drive, hook it up (daisy chained through my current external HDD?) to my computer along with the backup drive, load on extra media, and have the other drive back up both my computer and the external containing extra media as one mass of storage?
If any of this doesn't make sense just let me know, I kind of just spewed out exactly what I was thinking before I forgot. Thanks in advance for the help!
