Zune Software Replacement?!
As we have known for a while now, the Zune software will be replaced by a new syncing application but I haven't heard anything about this since its first mention and with the imminent approach of Windows Phone 8/ Windows 8 I am confused as to why we haven't. This new application will play a really important role in Microsoft's consumer story this fall as it will link Windows Phone with Windows but there are still so many unanswered questions that are worrying me. For example, will this app be a desktop or metro app (or both), if its a desktop app will it be incompatible with Windows RT devices, how will it differ from the Music/"Xbox Music" apps etc. Personally, I'm hoping this will be revealed on September 5th at the Nokia/MS conference or at a specific event detailing this sync software and Xbox Music. Anyone care to share any information or thoughts?
