CS: GO for PS3: Should I?

I've never played a CoD or Battlefield game online before; the closest I have is the Resistance 3 online multiplayer, which I thought was super fun. But with Counter Strike: Global Offensive nearing release, should I jump into this beloved, yet difficult-to-master franchise? Pros? Cons? Thoughts?
