Macbook + BootCamp + Windows 8
I use OS X 99% of the time. That other 1% belongs to Windows 7. I need that partition to use CAD software (SolidWorks).
I'm always interested in getting the latest and greatest software and I was hoping to replace Windows 7 with Windows 8. I was wondering if the current developer and consumer previews are compatible with BootCamp, along with drivers and everything, and if it is stable enough to depend on for that mythical 1%.
My last question is, and I know this isn't a post in the Microsoft forum, but how likely is it that I might be able to find the newly-released Windows 8 RTM online –– or if the consumer preview will be upgradable to the final Windows 8 release.
