What are your top 5?

We all have different uses for our phones. Some of us work off spreadsheets while others slash watermelons. We argue over what's more important, e.g. build quality or removable battery, But there's no right or wrong answer.

I'm a fine art student at university, requiring a phone for productivity, connectivity and basically keeping my life and study sorted. I work with audio and sound based technology and also use my phone for recording, manipulation and controlling different audio software.

So that leads me to my top 5:

1. Battery life
2. Ease of use
3. App selection
4. Reliability
5. OS Speed

Which leads me to think at the end of the year I'll be swapping my great workhorse Nexus S for (most likely) the new iPhone.

What are your top 5?

Company ethics? Build quality? Expandable storage? Screen size? Hackability? Customizability? Physical aesthetics? OS? It has to be "cool"? Ecosystem? Cloud integration? Availability? Carrier? LTE? Email integration? etc...

Why are they your top 5?

What device do you use now, and how have your top 5 influenced your phone choices?

I'm posting this in Android Army because I thought I'd get the widest range of answers, not to start a fight. All answers welcome!
