AirPlay Mirroring on AirPlay Compatible A/V Receivers
I'm planning to get a new home theater system for my new home theater. The A/V Receiver I had in mind also was AirPlay compatible, so that was a nice bonus. I know, for sure, that I will be able to stream audio, but with AirPlay Mirroring on the new Macs, I don't know if I will be able to stream video/mirror. I did a little research, and while some say that it should be possible, others say Apple AirPlay Audio licensing and Video licensing are two different things. In fact, I had conflicting answers from Apple sales reps. For anyone curious, the A/V receiver I want is the Yamaha RX-V473.
