All Microsoft had to do is include the button.
Everybody on the forums know about the complaining about the lack of start menu, or the orb. All they should have done is include the button, making the transition less jarring. The UI is great, but it would look better with a start button, and we are all used to it. Stardock, made a program called start8, which includes the start button and a metro start menu, and it works pretty well, but it would be better with an option to leave the metro in, but have the start button.
