We took an in-depth look at the TiVo Stream back in May; the small transcoder box lets you view and download TiVo recordings on your iOS device, but we weren't sure exactly when it would come out. Now, thanks to an All Things D review, we have more details on the launch. It'll be released on September 6th for $130, though you should be aware that you'll also need a TiVo Premiere box and subscription to use the Stream, which could add quite a bit to the entry price. It'll only work with the iPad, iPhone, and "newer" models of iPod touch at launch, but the promised Android application is apparently still "in the works."
