Proof that 6th Iphone will not have 16:9 aspect ratio
Rene Ritchie provides an in-depth analysis of how a 4 inch iphone with a 16:9 aspect ration would probably function He lays out Apple's 3 rules that I think are spot on:
- Apple will only do things that grow profits now, or better position them to grow profits in the future.
- Apple will delight users with magical experiences, except where doing so would conflict with the first law.
- Apple will empower developers to make insanely great apps, as long as doing so doesn't conflict with the first and second laws.
Apple will therefore not increase screen size just because Android phones are bigger in order to compete with Android . Apple will only increase screen size if it adds functional purpose and "Genuine" improvement. And the article proves that the 16:9 aspect ratio will add more problems than it can solve.
Guys just read the article and leave your thoughts on his analysis. For me the article has definitely been food for thought. And leaves me questioning the authenticity of the current ubiquitous leaks that purport a 4 inch Iphone with a 16:9 aspect ratio and have me thinking that the new Iphone may have a revolutionary design after all.
