Nokia > Samsung
The differences are clear. Nokia is a company that has a huge eye on industrial design and has a very human approach to things. They market their products stylishly, Exhibit A: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moJ9T5pgKkA&feature=player_embedded
Immediately we connect and understand what's going on. Nokia is emphasizing on its video shooting capabilities, and how it would benefit us in reality.
Samsung however, is a company that copies. Guys, I don't want to start a flare war here, but I'm just speaking truth. (Deal with it) One billion bucks to be paid to Apple and even before the launch of Windows 8, they have started copying the dock from OS X. They just seems like a bunch of un-innovative, faceless, corporate fat ctas who just follow, not to create. They come up with shit like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KfENaIV7rK4
I'm not saying we should judge a company based on how they market their products. It's because they choose their products to be marketed in that way. Nokia is just like that kid who works hard but is always overlooked, while Samsung is the huge jock that barely knows shit.
Nokia is a company many are familiar with, because chances are, a Nokia was your first phone. You marveled at how the phone looked in your hand as you Snaked with it all day. Good times. Nokia is now an underdog, and we all love a good comeback story. All I'm saying is to root for the one that deserves it, a company that truly cares of its users, rather than a gimmicky company who just make carbon copies for their users.
We are about to witness a daring comeback from Nokia & Microsoft, so hold on tight.
