Do you think there will be a time when you can build your own Phones/Tablets

Like you can build your own pc these days throw Purchasable hardware.

When it becomes cheap enough or would it be just as hard as building you're own laptop.

what i mean is not many people build there own laptops so building you're own phones/tablets would probably be a more difficult task but also at the same time could have cheaper hardware configarations .
