Best option for travelling in France?
I'm in France for the next couple of weeks and thought ti would be nice to have a little internet with me as I travel. I went into an Orange store yesterday looking for a prepaid plan that came with some data for my galaxy nexus, they informed me that this doesn't exist in Europe and I should go back to North America. I was a little shocked by their response and tried a few more stores, for the most part their answer was the same as that except for one store. Virgin Mobile confirmed that said plan truly exists over here, but only the big carriers sell them. I'm not quite sure if it is my Canadian french that they aren't liking, me, or the fact that I'm a tourist, but the main carriers seem set that they do not sell any prepaid plans with data.
What is the best option for somebody travelling around France from North America to get an affordable plan with some data?
A side note, my galaxy nexus (running 4.1) is having problems connecting to wifi over here, any ideas why?
