Vizio Co-Star
Reviewed by PaulMan1813 (Currently owns)
As an owner of the Logitech Revue and a Sony Internet TV Blu-Ray Player, I was very excited to receive my Pre-ordered Co-Star in the mail. Unfortunately upon connection I realized that this is no where near as reliable as the other two Google TV boxes I have. I was unable get the remote to work with my Sony TV or my Westinghouse TV, both worked flawlessly with the other two boxes. I consulted customer service and they were not responsive and told me that unfortunately "Not all univeral remotes work with all TVs" and to "contact the manufacturer of your TV to get a manual code". Well I did that and was told that codes are different for each brand of remote and Vizio should handle it.
I would, at least at the moment, suggest you get a refurb Logitech Revue or Sony Internet TV box rather than this, as the customer services is seriously lacking and the device just does not meet the expectations of even a current Google TV user.
