HBO Go for Android updated with Jelly Bean support
The Android version of HBO's Go viewing app has been updated to run on all versions of the operating system, including Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The update comes almost two months after the app was enabled for Android tablets, and means that owners of Google's Nexus 7, released in mid-July, will now have full access to HBO programming, provided they subscribe to the service. There appears to have been some confusion around the update — HBO reportedly removed the reference to Jelly Bean support from its Play Store listing at some point last night, before adding it back in — but we can confirm that the app runs smoothly.
