The Verge is on App.net!

Yes, we're on App.net. As you may or may not have heard, App.net is replacing Twitter. Well, that's probably a slight exaggeration (or maybe not), but nonetheless we've pledged our $50 and can be found under the handle @verge, the same way you're able to reach us on Twitter.

Being that the service is merely a few weeks old, we'll admit that we're not sure how App.net is supposed to be used, what we're supposed to post, share, etc. We're going to be experimenting in the coming weeks and we're asking you, the reader, what you'd like to see us post over there. So, sound off in the comments and if you want, follow the few brave Verge souls that have already joined App.net: @joshuatopolsky, @tomwarren, @samsheffer, @williamsavona, @eight, and @hey.
