Google Updated Mobile Safari Youtube Video Player - No Full Screen?
Hey guys,
Many many months ago, I disabled the built in Youtube app using iOS restrictions feature. I loved it because the Youtube web app in Safari was way better than the dedicated iPad app. However, Google updated the player and now I can't full screen. There is a button that says full screen but it only takes up the entire browser, not the entire screen. Does anyone know a workaround to get "true" full screen in the youtube web app on iOS?
Below are examples of the real full screen button available on most video sites like The Verge and the fake full screen button available on Youtube.
