Can Kinect be used to create this sort of witchcraft?

I've seen a hell of a lot of Kinect hacks and stuff ever since it's launch (and even seen Sony appear to feel neglected). I ended up buying a Kinect along with an Xbox 360 and a few games and while I really don't see why everyone loves the 360 that much more than the PS3, I gotta say I LOVE Kinect (when it works). It's pretty cool, and all the extras that come along make it much more fun to use.

Google doesn't want to love me, so I'm coming here because I love this damn place to ask this question on Kinect for Windows. Has anyone ever created a Kinect hack where a huge TV (60 inch to be exact) can be make into a touchscreen using Kinect tracking? I've seen people use it on projectors on walls, but never a TV, and I can't even find any downloads for the ones where they used a wall. I feel using Kinect + Windows 8 to make myself a fake touchscreen would be pretty nifty, but I don't know how :( So, does anyone know?
