Google Now inspired Weather App

So recently I've been inspired by the Google Now Weather card.

Something about the minimal iconography and style really drew me in. However I wasn't happy with the level of control Google Now gives to display the card and its notification in the drop down shade. Sometimes it would appear and sometimes it wouldn't. So I began a search for a weather app that offered the same minimalistic look and feel as well as a notification option to display all the time. The closest I found was Weather Eye and all in all its a pretty good app. Its got a clean icon set and for awhile I was happy. However I still found myself opening Google Now just to look at the weather card. So I decided to make a mockup of my ideal weather app, based of off the weather card and I decided I would share it with you guys and see if there is anybody else out there with the same desire as me.

So let me know what you guys think, anything that I should change? Also if there is interest in an app like this I would love to work with an Android dev to get it on the Play Store for everyone to use and enjoy. Cheers guys.
