First Tablet
In a PC post, I mentioned that I was having issues with my Dell Inspiron 14R screen. I hooked up the laptop to a monitor and keyboard and am using it as a desktop. This is fine considering that the warranty is over and that I rarely took my laptop out of the apartment. But I do miss the ability to use it while sitting on the couch and watching TV. This lead me to thinking that I should either renew the warranty or get an android or Windows Tablet. The new warranty & Nexus 7 both cost the same and would enable me to have a portable device. I would like to know from Nexus users and others their thoughts on the tablet and if it has any word processing programs or should I just renew the warranty and live 1-2 weeks without a computer.Also, I might hold off until October and either get an Asus Transformer or Microsoft Surface.
