The Android Horror Tale: Google's awful support for its own mobile platform

First off, I need to say that I'm actually relaying information from another person's post about her experience with Google's support services. I haven't had to contact Google support as of yet, but since I just read this article titled "To Speak of the Horror that is Google Android Support: a Lurid Tale" on MobileTechReview site by Lisa Gade (Editor in Chief of MobileTechReview), I think I may just as well make a post on here and see if other people have encountered something similar.

Overall, from that article, it is reported that there is no "hot line" support, everything is done via emails. What is particularly awful is that there is an impression that whoever responsible for answering those emails is doing a very weak-hearted job: hardly addressing any problems, isn't appeared to have even read the provided information, awfully long delay for answer ... and still, the problem is left unresolved. Worrying yet, some of the information provided by the support email to customer is actually misleading or even false.

Above is just a short summary of what was in Lisa Gade's post, if you are interested, please check out the post yourself.
