Nexus 7 & the Screen of Ripples
Received a beautiful 16GB N7 today, opened it up, logged in and played for a bit. Then I noticed that the left side is "wiggling" or "rippling" with even the slightest pressure. I try to mimic it on the right side and nothing. I have to apply serious pressure to make it happen there like any normal LCD screen.
I go and read up and apparently this is a sub-set of the screen rising (which mine does just barely) but doing a couple more tests on a black screen and just gently holding it I can cause ripple effects all up and down the entire left side.
So I'm going to return it to the store I bought it from but how common is this? I know the people with issues speak loudest but if this is way more common than is recorded I may just return it and wait a few months until a new batch is released.
