Less than a week after Facebook launched Stories, Tumblr has announced Reblorg, its very own curated site for user-generated original content. While Facebook's site is designed to collect stories, music, books, and podcasts that relate to a monthly theme, Reblorg is open to a wider range of content. The site appears to have been active since last night, posting a small collection of bizarre animated gifs ranging from a hot dog in sunglasses surfing on a slice of pizza to a pigeon shooting tacos from its head. Tumblr users can submit creative content of just about any kind — provided it's both new and self-made — using the submit tool, or they can tag posts with #reblorg. While Reblorg and Facebook Stories may serve a very similar purpose, Tumblr's new curated site has already proven itself to be a very different beast.
