The New Yorker app now available on iPhone
The New Yorker may be dropping support for Flipboard-formatted content, but there's another way to enjoy the magazine on your phone thanks to the newly launched iPhone app. The iPhone edition works just like its iPad counterpart, letting you digitally access issues of the magazine through Newsstand, along with video, audio, and other extra content. You can either subscribe or purchase individual issues, and to celebrate the new launch The New Yorker is offering the current issue free of charge — though past issues aren't available on the iPhone. You can grab the app from the source link below, and if you want to learn a bit more about its features check out the video below, starring Mad Men's Jon Hamm and Lena Dunham and Alex Karpovsky from Girls.
