The LTE version of Asus's Transformer Pad TF300 will go on sale in Germany and Austria towards the middle of this month, according to a report from TechFokus. The blog cites a German press release dated today, which describes the TF300TL as being available from "Mitte August 2012" for a suggested retail price of €629 (about $774) with keyboard dock or €529 ($651) without. It is not yet clear when other countries can expect to receive the device.

The last we saw of the TF300TL was an entry in the FCC database in May, which revealed support for LTE at 700MHz and 1700MHz frequencies, as well as HSPA+ at 850MHz and 1900MHz. According to the press release, the TF300TL will be available in the same red, white, and blue color scheme as the non-LTE version, with the white device being distributed by carrier O2. A video from last month shows the tablet being demonstrated by an O2 representative, showing off the network's reported 32Mbps upload and 42Mbps download speeds.
