[UPDATED] Concepts for The Verge Windows 8 app

It will be awesome if The Verge app joined the Windows 8 Marketplace.

Comment your ideas.

Make your own concepts but before that follow this :

1. Follow MSDN document for your guide in making METRO STYLE app concepts. here : http://bit.ly/MSDNGuide1 http://bit.ly/MSDNGuide2 http://bit.ly/MSDNGuide3 http://bit.ly/MSDNGuide4

2. Make it clean and big. PLEASE

3. Stickly. Should be METRO STYLE. Use the metro style buttons, icons and fonts

4. You may convert The Verge's logo to METRO STYLE logo to fit in tile

5. You may use GIFS to show your design perfectly. (should loop)

6. You don't need to follow the The Verge's design but add some to feel that your reading a Verge article

7. Your concept should be complete. Including all of these

a. Live Tile (Large and small version)

b. All the aspects of The Verge website (including the featured articles with thumbnails, the products index section, the reviews section, the features section, the articles [full and not], hubs, podcast, about page, tip us, forums, signup and signin page and a seperate video viewer [should like a HTML5 video]

c. The snapped view of app

d. App bar

e. The back button should always at your side

f. A pinned article

g. A section with a charms bar at the left

h. Integration with the elements of charms bar : including sharing The Verge app using share, searching in the The Verge app and settings for The Verge app.

i. Notification for The Verge app (or some calls it Toast) (example : someone reply on your arcticle that your reading)

j. OPTIONAL : a comparison of The Verge website (should use IE10 for fullscreen) into your app concept

How do I post it :

1. Make your own topic with a [CONCEPT] tag at the title

2. Comment it here, disscus the features and post the photos

3. If I amazed in your work I'll feature here in this body

4. Dont forget to tweet/email/pm/share your work and this topic to the The Verge Cast, Admins, Vox Media and Vox Product Team
