First off, let me get my rampant fanboysim related to this series out of the way by saying

Oh my god it's so awesome, I will claw my face off waiting for this game because of that damn delay.

Okay, out of the way, now....This game makes a few changes to the formula but given that the demo is just...super short...I can't exactly list all of them however the ones I can I shall!

-Sly has weight behind him, in the first 3 games it was almost like he was this weightless entity and this was especially prevalent in movement and jumping. The weight seems to stem from the vastly improved animations and it doesn't affect the game play at all thankfully.

-The costumes(or costume rather) add's a nice bit of variety into the level that was presented, though it is a little repetitive and hopefully it serves a bit more purpose in the full game, which it assuredly will knowing that each level has it's own costume.

And a couple of small ones

- Sly is really chatty, while in the original games he seemed to only talk to the people who talked to him(Villains, Murray, whatever) he seems to crack jokes to himself almost non-stop in this game.

-The original voice actors are back(barring Carmalita, but I guess she's always had a new voice actor) so that makes this fan boy happy.

-Sanzaru's logo screen is awesome...that is all.

If you own the Ratchet and Clank HD collection then you've had access to this demo since august 28th, and if you haven't played it since then....What the hell is wrong with you? If you don't the demo is expected to be released by the end of the month on PSN.
