How about The Verge LITE?
Currently, everything you can think of relevant to the latest news stories, videos, galleries all are linked on the front page causing a slow loading experience (especially on older computers).
So, why not turn the front page into more of a portal featuring the latest headlines and proper navigation to explore beyond? One thing I loved about Ars Technica was a (sort of) customizable view of the home page. You could choose a color scheme and a template of what you saw when logged onto the front page.
Technically, I just feel the website needs some work to be a more polished experience. I'm not referring to any radical redesign or rethinking of the website. I love it. I just call for a more customized version of what we see when we go to the main page.
What do you guys think?
Call for a redesign? Any help from the Polygon team?
