More than 1000 apps in the Windows 8 Store
Hey tribe,
So yeah, the Windows Store is really starting to pick up; last time I checked (a couple of weeks ago) there were ~400 apps, and now there's over 1000.
How I checked: I went into every category, wrote the number of apps in that category in Excel, and sum'd them.
PS: Is this because everyone can now pay the $50 and get their app up, or is it still closed to individual developers that didn't get an access code from msft?
