Polynauts The Movie: Episdod3-D(9/17 - 9/21)

Welcome back ladies and gents to this weeks all movie all TV show thread. Twas a semi okay week last week. Some movie about zombies and a evil corporation was released here in the states. We also got the season 3 premiere of Boardwalk Empire (which was frackin amazing) last night. The fall/winter season is finally here and for movie/TV lovers it's like Christmas.

Some News

Here is some news that went down over the weekend and this morning.

New Hobbit Trailer will debut this week. So be on the look out for that.

There is a new 10 disc Blu-Ray set coming out composed of all of Quentin Tarantino's movies. Which I'm sure everyone needs.

Also looks like the book turned game now turns movie. Metro 2033 is being adapted. I wonder if it will take more from the book or more from the movie.

But the one that strikes me odd is there is a rumor floating around that WB might cast different people to play Batman. In other words the actor to play Bat's in the JLA movie will be different than the actor in a solo Batman film. Which could mean separate universes. Now I can understand that WB does not want to follow the Marvel route but still. Maybe instead of having solo Batman films we instead don't have any. I would much Rather have a stable Flash, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman movie than more Batman.

Movies of the Week (And beyond)

Our good friend Paddy saw this last week and gave a nice little review. Said we should all check it out if we love action flicks. Also that it paid homage to the character of Dredd.

Go Check Out

Last Week CoffeeJezus brought up this little gem. And had this to say about it.

I’ve just finished watching the above movie – storming flick!

Brilliantly written, the acting was fabulous (one of which was Danish actor Nicolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jamie Lannuister in Game Of Thrones) and the blighter kept me guessing and double guessing throughout.

I haven’t read any of Jo Nesbo’s books, but if they are of this standard, then colour me most curious indeed.

So go check it out as it is a good flick to watch.

That's it. That is all I have for you this week. Be sure to drop me some lines on more films to look out for, and shows to check in on. Once the Fall season is in full swing I'll have more to say on TV. Until then folks tune in next time, same Poly channel, same poly time.
