Microsoft's Subscriptions
So while I'm most likely going to pay for the Office 2013 subscription, it got me thinking. There's way too many subscriptions for Microsoft that I'm paying for already. They've got me on the hook for Xbox Live Gold (which I admittedly only pay for sporadically), for Zune Music Pass (which will soon be Xbox Music), and now they'll be getting me for Office 2013.<p><p>I'm really thinking they're going to need to simplify these to make it less confusing for the user. Or at least offer one slightly discounted version for all three combined. In the long run, they'd be making more money from people like me because we'd be locked into all three services at all times, instead of subscribing at will.
