Branson looking to put Life on Mars.
Perennial Explorer and Company Collector Sir Richard Branson has shared his ultimate goal on his latest project obsession, starting a colony on Mars.
Whilst speaking, today, to CBS This Morning the Virgin Galactic Founder also stated his desire to expand the relatively minute circle of people who have risen beyond our atmosphere. "There are only 500 people who have ever been into space. They are the privileged astronauts ... we just want to enable people to become astronauts and experience it."
As we know, V.G. is planing to do this with its $200,000 two-hour flights upon which Branson will be sat alongside his two children early next year (on the first flight, of course). Branson's "absolutely realistic" target is the aforementioned colony on Mars. Ominously stating "In my lifetime, I'm determined to being a part of starting a population on Mars."
When Richard Branson sets his mind to something, it usually gets done, or crashes into the sea...
P.S. This time it's almost certainly not an April Fools Joke.
