'The Verge' image gallery speed
Hey guys,
I looked for a way to give feedback about this to the Verge guys but doesn't look like they are interested :P
I hope this is the right section for this.
The design of this website is excellent and one of the best in the field, but from day 1 I hated the way the images take time to load. I don't have a slow net as such but it's 1mb/s. I know how fast/slow most other big sites on the net load so I can tell that Verge is the slowest among the top ones.
Eg:http://beta.usatoday.com/media/photos/ = try any of the images there and see how quick they are to load and slide through.
I hope the Verge takes this feedback into consideration.
