We're all humans...help one another out?
Have you ever been in a financial jam? A struggle with money that just can't be met? A time when all other options have run out?
Currently, I'm afraid I'm in one of those situations.
My name is Brian, I'm 16, and I'm a sophomore at my local Highschool. I am a very active student with a 4.0 GPA, a member of band, choir, and the soccer team. I'm extremely active in Key Club and Student Politics. I don't have that much free time anymore, due to my hectic fall schedule, so I no longer hold a job anywhere. Due to pay cuts, (my mom is a teacher and my dad works at a PBS station) we are currently scraping by. However, we already signed me and my twin brother up for the trip last year, before these pay cuts. I also have two older sisters in college who recently had tuition hikes. This past summer, (for all of you) I went on a life-changing trip to Philmont, New Mexico for Boyscouts. That was around 2000 for me and my brother, and we're still paying that off. This trip is 1000 for the both of us together, and it's money we simply don't have without a lone.
Currently, my band and choir are doing a fundraiser, to raise money for the trip we take every four years to Florida (a long way from where I live) to play at DIsney World. We are also raising extra money to try to keep the music program alive at our small high-school, because it has a chance of being reduced or cut completely. We need funding. It's a simple, unavoidable fact. My family is in a hole.
I know that many of us a vergins are the kindest, most helpful people around. I know this isn't for some tech product, or cool new gadget, but it would mean the world to me if somebody, anyone could help me out. Because right now, I'm really hurting. Any help hear would be so well accepted. I apologize if you read to this point for wasting your time.
If you wish, you can help out here...
