My thoughts on the Nexus 7 after a month...

I loved the Nexus 7 the minute I got it. I used it all the time, my MacBook barely got used.

But now I just find myself barely using it... I always just go straight to my MacBook, its just easier to use for web browsing and content discovery then the Nexus 7. I feel like nothing can beat the keyboard and trackpad/mouse for browsing the web, but maybe thats me. Plus, the apps don't really draw me in, and I always find myself using the web version of the app. The only apps I really use that I enjoy is Google+ and Flipboard.

I feel now after owning this for a month that I don't need it. It's just a larger Galaxy Nexus, minus the phone. All my apps are the same, none of which are optimised for tablet. I always feel myself reaching for the Galaxy Nexus rather than the Nexus 7. And as much as I hate to say this, I'm starting to get bored of Android, same as I did iOS.

So I'm wondering, what do you guys use your tablets for? Is there an actual need for a tablet now that we have larger screened phones? I'm feeling as if I wasted my money on my N7, and if I had my time over, I'd probably not purchase it. Unless you guys can recommend some awesome apps that make me want to love it again, this will probably be the last tablet purchase I make. It may even be my last Android product, Windows 8 and Phone 8 are looking very tempting right now...
