A built-in headphone amplifier, one a big breakthrough
Ever since I stop using MP3 players for the pure convenience of having a single device to carry around I always ended up missing the great sound quality of a dedicated audio device. I tried iPhones, Androids, HTCs and all lacked the fidelity and sound quality I was accustomed to have on cheap MP3 players like the Sansa Fuze, I ultimately ended up buying a FiiO E6, no matter that I looked like the biggest dork on earth (who needs an iPod nano attached to its cellphone?) So, today the news that HTC is going to be adding a dedicated amp right into the 8X phone makes me a very happy man, I hope to see more companies going into this same direction but so far, this is going to be my next phone.
