We've just spotted Nintendo's promised Circle Pad Pro add-on for the 3DS XL here at Tokyo Game Show. Capcom is demonstrating the device alongside Monster Hunter 4, mirroring the original accessory's launch with Monster Hunter 3 (-tri) G last year. As you can see from the photo above, it takes a similar form to the regular 3DS' Circle Pad Pro, but is obviously much larger to accommodate the 3DS XL's frame.

It's a shame that the second analog stick couldn't have been included in the original 3DS or XL revision, and as before this accessory will turn off those who like their handhelds to be sleek and pocketable. Then again, those people probably wouldn't opt for a 3DS XL in the first place, and dedicated Monster Hunter players aren't likely to mind much either. The 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro is currently listed on Nintendo of Japan's website, but the release date and price haven't yet been announced.
