Courier derived project Austin app looks like a total fail

In the video posted it just looks and feels like crap in both UI and design, with cheesy use of Skeuomorphism for pages and shadows. The centered placement and gradient backgrounds are just vomit inducing.
Looks like something Samsung would make for the Galaxy Note to use with the included stylus.
