iOS: tap and hold a list item
In the Music app, tapping and holding an item in a list will cause a popup to appear showing the full contents of that item.
Although this is currently only implemented in Music, it could possibly be useful in other areas of the OS like:
- seeing the full SSID of WI-Fi networks with long names when selecting a network
- viewing the full title of pages with long titles in Reading List
- being able to see the full file name of files when interacting with office apps, Dropbox or other apps with file managers
Implementation would be (I believe) fairly effortless as most of these apps currently don't have any action assigned to tapping and holding an item in a list. So, why not?
