So what's the consensus on the windows 8 music/video apps?

So I really enjoyed the Zune Software and I'm currently liking the xbox music/video builds in the xbox dashboard beta. However I have heard mixed reviews on them saying they weren't as good as the previous zune apps.

So on the heels of the recent itunes revamp that is shaping up to be great wanted to get thoughts on the Windows 8 xbox music/video apps.
