Moving from iOS and deciding on an Android Phone......

I've been using a iPhone 3GS since its release. It has been a good phone, in fact was amazing back in the day. But has all good things come to an end, so has my 3GS. I've seen is decay in comparison to new iPhones and phones as old as the Galaxy One. I kept waiting for the next big thing, it just never seemed to happen. I suppose we've seen the Retina Display,Siri, and Google Wallet, but Siri is useless and Google Wallet was brilliant but crushed by the carriers. My microphone on my 3GS has died, so I can not speak into the phone, which makes it a one way phone, Also the battery last like 4 hours. So i need a new one.

I was leaning towards Android for a while and the Iphone 5 pushed me over the edge. It made me realize Apple iscontent with just polishing and polishing away at iOS. Except Siri, nothing has changed much in iOS in 5 years. While Google has pushed Android so far, it is incredible. With them workingon things like Google Wallet, Google Maps, and now Google Now. It feel like they are doing more. Plus I appreciate the more open Android community and the custom ability.

I am on AT&T and am looking at the HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S III.
I've gotten the the HTC One X has a better design, better screen, and better UI. While the Galaxy S 3 has a better camera, and a removable battery/expandable memory. I'd like to install vanilla Jelly Bean on it, so if that is easier on one more than the other, that would be great

But I've hear rumors of a HTC One X+ and new Nexus. Which is terrible because I'd love to have a quadcore LTE phone, but I simply can't wait to November or December. October is fine, but we've heard nothing which makes me concerned...
