Why I am opting for a Lumia 920 and not the Iphone 5. A rational explanation.

A month earlier, I was drooling over the launch of Nokia WP8 device and the Iphone 5. Now after seeing these two. I feel its the time to make a decision and I am in the L920 boat. I've always loved Iphones but never owned one. The reason being the Apple logo. Majority of people buy Iphones for not what it can do, but from the place where it comes from. An apple logo has become a status symbol rather than a company trademark. I love the Iphone, I really do, The interface, the eco-system, the design, top notch. i never bought one because I didn't want to be mistaken as another apple fanboy. Android never appealed to me. NEVER. Tons of features and customization, but all over the place. Iphone is a like a superfast bullet train. Smooth comfy ride, does what it is supposed to do. gets you at your destination on time but no detours. One specific route. Android is like Bugati. Super fast speed, but you are likely to bump into things very often. Use it the way you like but carefully. Windows Phone is the new kid in town and i=has ruffled some feathers. I love its UI, speed, smoothness, customization, features, everything, A perfect OS. Nokia is the icing on the cake. Awesome hardware in the L920, at least since Iphone 4. Screen, design, camera, perfect ! I know Iphone will sell in million and l920 probably wont even make the list of best selling devices. But I would love to see it doing well on the market. i don't want Nokia to vanish. Nokia started it all. they did lose their footing but seem they have regained it. L920 is everything the Iphone 5 should have been, not just a larger screen. L920 has a better camera, better screen, better looks. Iphone has a better eco-system, proven overtime. WP eco-system is improving gradually. With a year or two, i see it rivaling Android and iOS, specially with the close integration with W8. So, L920 for me.
