Proximity sensor always on. May be the reason for the users with rapid battery drain.
Try holding your iPhone with iOS 6 up to a webcam to see the IR output from the proximity sensor. When I did this, I noticed the sensor was on constantly without stopping. I do not have Siri raise-to-speak on. Is anyone else having this issue? Also, does anyone know if this is a software issue Apple can fix with an update?
