Made a mockup if Microsoft made their own phone, thoughts?

I was looking at the designs and trends that windows phone are going towards, and it's obvious it's striking colors and shapes. But for some reason I dont really like how the curves meet the overall aesthetic of boxy, clean, and simple looks the OS is going for. So I made something that embraces the boxy corners, while also having a very dramatic curve or glass. Also incorporated colors.

I know the surface looks nothing like this, but for phones, I think this design makes more sense ergonomically. What do you guys think?
