iPhone 5, what's the problem?

I am really puzzled in the amount of criticism of the iPhone 5. I can't see what people were expecting from apple, hardware wise. Thee 5 has upgraded basically everything from the 4s, maybe lacking NFC (but there is no use for it at the moment IMO).I mean 1gb of ram is plenty seeing as ios6 is a relatively basic os, and is built around the hardware of the 5, so is superbly efficient again IMO (apart from an app the call 'maps').

Please someone enlighten me in what magic they were expecting apple to conjure up in terms of hardware.

All I can see that is wrong is iOS 6.
