"Apple is not innovative"

You hear this everywhere, and it goes something along the lines of:

  • "Take an iPhone 4S and make it longer, and you have innovation!"
  • "Apple is becoming lazy"
  • "People will still buy Apple products anyways because they are sheep"

These types of comments are supposedly cheap tricks used by Apple haters, and boy will they piss people off. But this brings up the point: What is real innovation, is it merely just having more powerful processors and putting in 13MP cameras and larger screens? I don't think so, but more importantly, is there much innovation left? People are blaming Apple for hindering innovation, yet judging from the laptop and smartphone space, every other PC makers and smartphone makers are adopting features that closely resemble that of Apple products here and there.
