How compatible are the components of chipsets?
Chipsets and SoC's like Tegra, Snapdragon, OMAP and Exynos connect over ribbon cables and FPC's ( Flexible Printed cables ) but what i'm curious is with the IPS LCD modules or AMOLED modules are the screens connectors built for a custom PCB design schematic? or the screen modules along with touchscreen controllers a industry standard for OEM'S. Always wondered how compatible a tegra 3 chipset to a OMAP chipset what would be really changed for the LCD/OLED modules? and/or is it completely custom with pcb compatability anyone know?
