Winners of the 2012 Hugo Awards announced
The winners of the 2012 Hugo Awards have been announced. A lot of people were rooting for, and really thought, that George R.R. Martin's insanely popular A Dance with Dragons would nab the best novel prize, but that award went to Jo Walton's Among Others (a book I haven't read yet).
Other prize winners include Kij Johnson's novella "The Man who Bridged the Mist," and Ken Liu's short story "The Paper Menagerie." You can find the full list of winners on the Hugo Awards' official website.
